The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Major General (R) Dr. Nayyar Naseer HI(M), paid a courtesy call on Hon. Dr. Rizvie Salih, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. During the cordial meeting, both sides discussed avenues for enhancing Parliamentary cooperation with shared democratic values that bind the two nations and strengthening bilateral ties and enhance regional cooperation. The High Commissioner reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s legislative and institutional development. Hon Speaker also appreciated Pakistan’s constructive efforts as a mediator in the ongoing peace talks.
