HC meet with Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation

High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka Major General (R) Faheem-ul-Aziz met with Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation Hon. Mr. K. D. Lalkantha on August 06, 2025, to discuss the status of Sahiwal Bull imports, a new proposal for importing Pakistani meat-type goat breeds, and Pakistan’s readiness to assist Sri Lanka’s National Goat Improvement Program. They also addressed the pending MOU on agriculture, and emphasized Pakistan’s capacity for technical collaboration in various agricultural sectors, along with addressing trade barriers and exploring export/import opportunities between the two countries.
