The land of Punjab served\nas one of the oldest civilizations in the world. One of the most popular\nHistorical tourist\u2019s spot around Lahore is the Hiran Minar which is located in\nSheikhupura district around 40 kilometers in the north-west of Emperor\nJahangir\u2019s mausoleum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mughal Emperor \u2018Jahangir\u2019 was a great patron of art and\npainting. It was during his reign that painting and architecture were given\ngreat importance. Apart from arts, Jahangir had interest in hunting also.\n\u2018Hiran&nbsp;Minar\u2019 is an example of his love for the Royal deer.&nbsp;This\nmonument is unique in its design, setting and architecture. The monument shows\nthe love of the Emperor and his grandeur of noble simplicity and elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This wonderful Mughal monument was constructed at a hunting\nreserve used by the Mughal royals. The reserve was built in a scrub forest and\nallowed Mughal emperors to experience a sense of semi-wilderness near the\nimperial city of&nbsp;Lahore.
