Qasim Qureshi &amp; Mrs. Qureshi were the Guests of Honour.\u00a0The event was aimed at fostering friendship and fellowship amongst the Sri Lankans and the Pakistani Community in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>The Sports Gala featured number of activities including 3 friendly cricket matches for men, women and children teams.\u00a0The event also included various interesting activities like Tug of War (Males) (Females) (Children), Breaking the Pot etc.<\/p>\n<p>A large number of Pakistanis based in Sri Lanka, along with all members of the Sri Lanka Pakistan Friendship Association as well as Malay Cricket Club attended the event, together with their family members.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 The Sri Lanka Pakistan Friendship Association, in collaboration with Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka and the Malay Cricket Club organized the 2013 Sports Gala on Saturday,\u00a021st September 2013, at the Malay Cricket Club grounds, Padang, Slave Island.
