The Pakistan and Sri Lanka Boys\u2019 12 & Under Tennis Teams were declared joint winners of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) 12 & Under Team Competition \u2013 South Asia, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
Both teams have qualified for the Finals of the ATF 12 & Under Team Competition of Asia, scheduled to be held in Singapore in the last week of August 2025.<\/p>\n
\u2022 In the first singles, Rashid Ali beat Wevita Nuren Jaylen Mendis Wevita 5-4(7-2), 4-0.<\/p>\n
\u2022 In the second singles, Muhammad Shayan Afridi vs Amarasinghe Revaan ended 2-4, 4-2(1-0); rain interrupted the game.<\/p>\n
The Pakistan team remained undefeated in the tournament:
\n\u2022 vs India \u2013 2-0
\n\u2022 vs Maldives \u2013 3-0
\n\u2022 vs Bangladesh \u2013 3-0
\n\u2022 vs Nepal \u2013 3-0<\/p>\n
The young Pakistani team delivered a dominant and consistent performance throughout the tournament, signaling a bright future for junior tennis in the country.<\/p>\n
Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), extended his heartfelt congratulations to the team:
